Layered Mediterranean Dip

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth where moth & rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.  But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven... for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.  Matthew 6:19-21

I'm relying on a talented cook/friend this week.  Katie Moody passed along this recipe and says it has been a crowd pleaser at several parties recently.  This will be a good one to tuck away for tailgating season, which will be here soon!

Hummus
Marinated Artichokes, drained & chopped
Kalamata Olives, drained & chopped
1 bunch green onions, chopped
Peppercini Peppers, Drained & sliced
Sun-Dried Tomatoes, drained & chopped
Feta Cheese
Pine Nuts, toasted

You can make this as large or small as you need.  The hummus needs to be on the bottom & the feta & pine nuts on the top.  Layer the rest in the order of the list of ingredients.  Recommendation: 2 containers of hummus, 1 large jar of marinated artichoke hearts, 1 large jar of olives, 1 bunch green onions, not too many peppers, 1.5 jars tomatoes, 1/3 block feta and a good handful of nuts.

Serve with Stacy's pita chips.
Serves lots!

Tips:
The recipe is as my friend received it from someone else.  You can follow that or she just buys a large jar of everything and goes from there.  This recipe may seem kind of vague but it just gives you license to be creative.  If there is an ingredient you don't like, I would still try it the first time because she says that all together, people go crazy over it!
