Derek surprised me tonight with an adoption video.... he is anti sappy ones that suck you in and make you feel like you should cry to Christian Music.... so this is a glimpse into his mind.... enjoy..... don't be scared... he is a little crazy but I still love him.... haha. By the way, I am not anti- sappy ones so there will be another version of this one day....

Hey Rushton! This is Wellon (Lee) Bridgers--so sorry for the long comment ahead, but I didn't know an email address to send this to!
My mom told me about your blog and I have loved keeping up the past couple of weeks with yall's journey! We are waiting a referral for twins from Congo, so we no doubt will have some challenges ahead--your willingness to be so honest is such encouragement! I wanted to share with you a verse I came across while reading in Ezekiel the other day--though the passage is about the Lord's faithfulness to the Israelites, after some long and great discussion with my brother Murray, we believe it is the Lord's message for all of his children--and all of us brought near through adoption! The metaphor reminded me of Mei Sims' journey, and hopefully can be a source of encouragement to you!!! "Though I had removed them far away among the nations and though I had scattered them among the countries, yet i was a sanctuary for them while in the countries where they had gone...and I will give them one heart, and put a new spirit within them. AND I WILL TAKE THE HEART OF STONE OUT OF THEIR FLESH AND GIVE THEM A HEART OF FLESH" Ez. 11:16,19. Who ever thought changing a heart of stone to flesh would be an easy task!?
